Cheap Flights = gUG + min(k – g, (1 – g)(1 – r))

We always suspected the Japanese were a tad insane, but the latest formulae:

∏A = gUG + min(k – g, (1 – g)(1 – r))

perhaps goes to prove the point.
If we are to believe this gibberish looking equation then it works out that to get cheap flights we must be booking them 8 weeks ahead and in the afternoon!
